Mark Ryden was born in Oregon and studied at the Art Center of Pasadena where he received his BFA in 1996. He paints mostly in Oils on woodpanel and creates wonderful childlike illustrations depicting fusions of animals and children. The portrayal is the idea of showing child innocence in his work. He has a wide range of clients such as Helio Magazine, Arte, Bant - No 13., Juxtapoz, LA Weekly, Contenmporary, LA Times, New York Art World, TEAR, Bliss, Cyberzone, 200%, etc.. One of his exhibitions that I am most interested in is 'Wondertoonel' and also 'Meat'
